Las Vegas Music Scene: Local Artists to Watch
Written by Tina Brice
The Las Vegas Valley has an impressive music scene. Bands such as the Killers, Panic at the Disco and Imagine Dragons all hail from Sin City. Here are three up and coming artists from the local music scene to keep an eye on.
Santino Cardinale is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Las Vegas. He auditioned for the television show Boy Band on ABC and made it into the top 30 before being eliminated. Cardinale was in a music group with his two younger brothers called TMPTR before setting out on a solo career. The electronic-pop musician is releasing his next album, Fractured, on July 26, 2024.
worseforwear is a Vegas based pop-punk quartet who have an already impressive touring history. They have shared the stage with other up and coming artists Brooklane and Calling All Captains. Their debut album, Losing Touch, released on March 8, 2024, was coproduced by Derek DiScanio of State Champs and Alan Day of Four Year Strong. Catch them playing the Griffin in downtown Las Vegas on July 16, 2024, and participating in the Local Music Series at the Space Las Vegas on August 31, 2024.
Radical West started out as a local cover band for hire. They garnered over 1.5 million views on social media while only releasing one album, One Year Later. The band has played such high-profile events as Life is Beautiful. Their debut album is available on all music streaming platforms. They are sort of a jack of all trades in terms of musical style.
The Las Vegas Valley has an eclectic mix of musicians, from street performers to household names. These are just three humble bands trying to make it in the industry in Las Vegas. There are hidden gems among the darkness of the desert looking for their time in the limelight.
